If you wanted to know where the “downtown” area of Hinunangan is, Poblacion would be it. It is the most populated Barangay and is home to the Municipal Building, Holy Rosary Academy (one of four high schools in all of Hinunganan), the Church, numerous stores, a co-op (kind of like a credit union), a bustling market, and even a hotel.
To the east of Poblacion is the beach facing Hinunangan Bay, to the North is the Barangay Bangcas A, to the West is BarangayLabrador , to the South is the Barangay Panalaron, and to the Southeast is the Barangay Salog.
